As we age our hair start turning to shade of gray. This is a middle step before our hair finally turns into white. It occurs because in the initial days when the hair is not completely white they blend with the color of our natural hair and appear as a shade of gray. Our hair also turns white when the natural colour pigment stops producing in the hair follicles. This occurs because the pigment cells die due to aging.
Some people experience Grey hair at an early age. This is either hereditary or due to lack of proper vitamins in the diet. Besides this tension, severe illness, stress, shock, sorrows can also contribute towards graying of the hair.
