When “thyroid,” comes to mind you start thinking enlarged neck, eyes bulging, or someone who is suffering from obesity. These are symptoms of thyroid in it aggravated state most thyroid symptoms are not this obvious and it can take a lot of time for people to realize that they have a thyroid problem. Recent studies have shown that hair loss can be a symptom for a thyroid problem.

So when you are examining yourself for a thyroid problem you should not be looking at just your neck, eyes or weight but also your comb and whether that it is full of your hair. For me this is a revelation as most people used to tackle the problem externally while the solution might have been in the cure of thyroid, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that all hair loss is caused by a thyroid condition.
